The Maine Grand Prix (MGP) is a year-long competition that rewards Maine Chess Association members for consistent participation and performance in tournaments throughout the calendar year.

The prize fund is funded entirely through donations. 

The Roger Morin Scholarship Fund awards annual scholarships to deserving High School Seniors and College Undergraduates.
